RC/PLGR

Offshore Marine offer Route Clearance (RC) and Pre Lay Grapnel Run (PLGR) services to our clients. Suitable cost effective vessel solutions are sought and provided complete with a full OMM PLGR/RC setup and integrated survey suite. OMM provide fully competent and highly experienced superintendents, back deck/ crane operative, rigging and survey teams for these operations.

All operations are competently project managed and delivered by OMM with all final reporting and data deliverables being of the highest quality.

All cable and debris/ waste disposal can be dealt with by OMM with the required environmental certification provided for correct and managed disposal (as per ICPC recommendations).

OMM provide all grapnel types depending on seabed conditions to be encountered and combine this with full OMM rigging equipment/container, open top containers for waste, suitable tow winch and backup, saddleback with ILRM (In Line Running Monitor) backup for tow tension and cable length output and fully integrated survey suite for vessel and graps positioning with all relevant survey background, exclusion zones, seabed feature and environmental data displayed.

Offshore Marine combines the above with further value added service, including:

• EPOCH in-house developed software (Enhanced Project & Offshore Cable History) with integrated AIS (Automated Identification System)
• Large back deck Tension displays

The survey suite along with vessel positional, orientation and motion sensor data, acquires and logs all tow tension and cable length data and interfaces to OMM’s EPOCH suite for live web viewing by the client of offshore RC/ PLGR progress and data collection (with depicted live graphed tow tension data and vessel position along the proposed route (RPL) and vessel/ graps positional information relating to the RPL).
