Cable Route & Site Investigation Services

Via our strategic and key alliances Offshore Marine also undertake cable route and site investigation surveys incorporating hydrographic, geophysical, geotechnical, benthic and environmental surveys/ base studies. OMM have a wealth of resources in combination with our alliance partner for these operations and as such have a reputable and extensive track record.

 

ROV & Subsea Equipment Services

Offshore Marine Survey can provide eyeball (inspection class) through to WROV (work class) and subsea crawler vehicles depending upon the survey and subsea sensors required with TSS350/ 440 cable and pipe tracker, Innovatum Smart Track and dual profiler/ MBES heads as a standard. Other standard survey sensors and equipment can include bathy, altimeter, OAS (Obstacle Avoidance Sonar), Underwater gyro/MRU, DVL (Doppler Velocity Log), CTD probe and Responder & Transponder.

 

Accurate and Cost Effective DGPS

Using the free signal services available in SBAS (EGNOS) and IALA (Radio beacon service), rather than conventional signal services, we provide our clients with an accurate and cost effective DGPS solution.  This can be combined with a GPS/ GLONASS receiver to further increase accuracy, redundancy and repeatability.

 

Sophisticated Survey & Navigation Suite

Our reputable integrated survey and navigation package, purpose written for the subsea cable sector, is ideally suited for all survey data acquisition and processing.

High tech digital video software solutions can record, display and QC ROV/ subsea vehicle / diver camera images (up to 4 cameras), digital overlay, audio commentary and online eventing with time synchronised offline review and client review (freeware) modules.

The sophisticated digital video suite features a set of system tools enabling simultaneous real-time recording of up to four analogue or digital ROV/ subsea vehicle video cameras with high image quality and clarity of user defined overlay. 

The offline system is a full reporting suite including enhanced quality control, providing our clients with direct access to video /audio footage and integrated survey/ eventing data.

AutoCAD and a dedicated survey charting package aligned with AutoDesk CAD functionality provide a user friendly system for all our charting requirements.

Offshore Marine Projects pride themselves on their high quality and sophisticated final reporting, charting and digital video products to our clients both in hard copy and electronic format with hyperlinked data options and freeware digital video review facilities via portable mass storage drives.
