To safely and profitably deliver an assigned project(s) secured by OMS International Limited and Offshore Marine Management Holding Limited (OMMHL) Group.
Ensure proper and effective planning and execution of each assigned project, including assets, equipment and personnel.
To ensure that proper cost control is implemented and maintained throughout the project, including budgeting and forecasting.
Identify, control and manage all project risks including operational, commercial and financial.
Meeting milestones embodied within the project.
Performing all duties in line with Company procedures.
To assist with project bidding and estimation as required.
Internally this post:
Reports to the Operations Manager.
Cooperates directly with other line managers, teams.
Directs and controls the project HSEQ, operational, engineering, financial and deliverables personnel.
All Company staff and contractors as appropriate.
Externally this post:
Liaises with the authorities, clients’ project managers, clients’ onshore teams, subcontractors, vessel suppliers, equipment/personnel suppliers, agents and other relevant stakeholders.
Review the proposals from the tendering department to identify potential risks and share your experience, before contract is being signed (if not previously involved in the tendering process).
Overall management of the assigned project.
Be the prime point of contact for the assigned project and represent the Company to the Client and other external parties.
Responsible to ensure project results are according to budget or better.
Responsible for overall RQHSE on the project.
Lead a diverse project team of office and offshore personnel to a common goal.
Complete and manage the Project Master Document Register.
Implement both the Companys and Client’s RQHSE goals & expectations on the project.
Assure compliance to applicable (local) rules and regulations.
Carry out detailed Project Risk Assessments and identify and implement required control measures with support of the QHSE manager and QHSE project coordinator.
Identify and manage interfaces with third parties on the project.
Identify and manage any deviations to the contracted scope of work.
Ensure best levels / balance of quality, costs, time and scope are met.
Identify in advance any potential overruns in terms of cost or schedule and take corrective action as required.
Report on project performance internally (and externally as required) at frequent and regular intervals using dedicated Company cost controlling and project controlling mechanisms.
Provide full document control and coordination throughout the project.
Coordinate and feedback with regards to personnel competency, assessment and performance during the project.
Conduct full product delivery QC & QA in conjunction with the project team and Operations Manager.
Provide internal feedback and lessons learnt (chair project wash-up meeting to this affect)
Additionally the role will periodically involve tendering, cable route engineering & planning, desk studies, R&D, software, O&M and inspection and operations procedures & process – be this working as an individual, in a team or as head of a small team.
Senior Project Manager

To ensure that proper cost control is implemented and maintained throughout all projects, including budgeting and forecasting.
Identify, control and manage all project risks including operational, commercial and financial.
Meeting milestones embodied within the company’s projects.
Enhanced performance of and communication with direct reports.
Performing all duties in line with Company procedures.
Academic Background & Experience
Offshore Survey or Engineering degree or other relevant and recognised qualification with a minimum of 10 years relevant work experience.
Excellent numerical and Microsoft Office skills.
A strong offshore operations management background is essential.
Personal
Eye for detail, quality assurance and analytical working are paramount for this key role.
Ability to prioritise workloads, coordinate and organise all operational tasks, requirements and administration of the stepped process of project preparation, procurement, audits, HIRAs, kick offs, execution, delivery, financials and close out.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills for working with clients, project teams, offshore teams, subcontractors and suppliers as well as internal staff and contractors.
Ability to work effectively with all documentation in conjunction with others.
Ability to work on one’s own initiative and as part of a fast moving, dynamic team.
Ability to work under pressure, motivate and drive continuous improvement and new ways of working.
Be willing to travel in-country and overseas as may be required from time to time.
